09.23.08 | 2009-10 FAFSA Expected To Be Finalized In Late November
The Department of Education has reported that it expects the 2009-10 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to be finalized in mid to late November. This is later than usual due to the many necessary changes to the FAFSA as a result of the College Cost Reduction and Access Act (CCRAA).

These changes that are being implemented on the FAFSA for the 2009-2010 school year in which students will be applying in the future sounds as though it is a step in the right direction. Many college students and graduate students, like myself for instance will need extra money to be able to pay for their education. A slowing economy seems to leave many downtrodden, while the government has not stopped in its efforts to help students. I will be looking forward to these changes when I fill out the 2009-2010 FAFSA.
