Deciding on the best Student Loan Lenders

Borrowers may choose to apply with any student loan lender and should be aware that there are other options beyond alternative student loans. For more general information, check out our alternative student loan overview page, or simply get started and apply for an alternative student loan.

Choose a bank from the above lender list to see if they offer a loan at your school.

Apply With a Co-signer

While not required, we strongly encourage undergraduate students to apply with a creditworthy co-signer if they may have difficulty qualifying for a loan due to limited income and credit history. This may increase an applicant's chances of approval and of possibly obtaining a better interest rate.
